Absolute Sports Agency Pvt Ltd, signed a ten(10) years contract for organising an International level t-20 cricket tournament in Kenya named “Kenya T20 Premier League” (KPL), KPL is Twenty-Twenty Over format and it’s first edition will be organised in Kenya all matches will be played at Nairobi’s Gymkhana Cricket Stadium. Total Six(6) teams will take a part in this franchise based league, each team will have 20 players in squad including 6 International world cup players retired and current from various nations. 10 players from Kenya including current nationals and few emerging players, rest of the players will be selected from other nations through camp selection procedure. Absolute Sports Agency will organise camps in different nations to select emerging players who are not getting enough chances from their respective associations/countries these players will get a chance to showcase their talent on television so that they can get contract from other associations/nations, all players will get free accommodation including air tickets and local transportation. All “ICC” rule and protocols will be followed in KPL, additional Anti Corruption Unit and some other policies will be made by the board of Cricket Kenya to maintain spirit of this beautiful game. KPL will be Live on various social media platforms, OTT platforms and on sports channels, Absolute Sports Agency will sell its broadcasting rights to the channel who will stream all matches across the Globe. There will be multiple sponsors and those sponsors will get shoutouts and promotions through different categories. This league will be organised on an International level audience will get a tremendous entertainment throughout the tournament, it will generate more players for Kenya and also boost economy of Kenya. In the first edition of KPL there will be free tickets for everyone but audience still need to get tickets from ticket window to enter into the stadium. Absolute Sports Agency take an initiative to install “Hand Pump” or “Submersible Pump” on every “Dot Ball” in knock out stage ASAPL will install hand pumps or solar submersible pumps in dry areas of Kenya where local community not getting fresh water for daily needs so that they can get easy access to get water. ASAPL will help all Registered Counties of Kenya to open Cricket Academies for local players so that they can get coaching and do practice, it will also help them to get a chance to participate in National camp for “National Cricket Academy “(NCA). ASAPL will also help Cricket Kenya(CK) to open a NCA so that organisation will produce more talent for National team of Kenya. Total 36 International big names of cricket from around the world will play in KPL and they will promote cricket in Kenya also Local and International artists, athletes and businesses tycoons will promote cricket in the region through campaign and their social media platforms. There will be worldwide famous personalities brand ambassadors for each team and the league. ASAPL will arrange everything for KPL and CK will also make sure that nothing being left to maintain standards of cricket, CK will provide needful to ASAPL in this International level cricket league. CK and ASAPL join hands to rise cricket in Kenya once again to match standards of the ICC, KPL is a best platform to promote cricket in region and get the best players for qualify in ICC events. On 1st August 2022 Absolute Sports Agency and Cricket Kenya signed a ten years contract at JW Marriott in press conference at Chandigarh, on 30th October 2022 Cricket Kenya organised a Press Conference for Absolute Sports Agency in Kenya at Nairobi Gymkhana. In KPL advertisement will be on large scale all banners and standees will be installed in all over the major cities of Kenya, pamphlets will be distributed through local news papers and a helicopter from the sky, all national influencers will promote this league through their social media handles and local cable channels will be also run commercial ads on their network.
